Vintage Zuni Style Silver & Turquoise Ring – Secret Compartment

A vintage silver ring with a turquoise-set hinged top that opens to reveal a small concealed compartment. A large oval cabochon is surrounded by a halo of small round turquoises in serrated settings, with applied silver beads and openwork shoulders.

The cluster arrangement recalls Zuni “snake eye” work and Southwestern jewellery. The ring is unsigned, however, and its maker and exact origin remain unconfirmed; it is offered as Zuni style.
