Vintage Konyak Naga 52-Strand Glass Bead Necklace – Nagaland, India

A striking traditional necklace from the Konyak Naga people of Nagaland, Northeast India, composed of 52 strands of small glass beads.

This is an older ethnographic piece rather than a modern reproduction. The dense multi-strand construction gives the necklace a strong sculptural presence and is characteristic of traditional Naga beadwork.

The original threads remain in place and appear stable enough for occasional careful wear, although this is primarily a collectible piece.
