Tibetan Necklace with Turquoise and Coral Beads
This fabulous necklace features antique turquoise beads, coral beads and silver beads.
This necklace is relatively new, but the beads are old and have been worn. Many of the turquoise beads are flat, suggesting that they were worn on a garment, probably the traditional Ladakh headdress, the perak.
These are turquoise with a matrix "spiders".
The coral beads are a bright red. One has a repair mark.
The central turquoise bead has a very original nugget shape, the lapidary's intention being to highlight the blue part of the bead.
