Silver Fibula from Morocco
This antique brooch comes from the Rif region of Morocco. The centre of this fibula represents an almond. The almond is surrounded by 8 flower petals. This type of jewellery was worn in pairs on the shoulders to hold a scarf. The two fibulas were usually connected by a chain and this jewellery was made by casting.
Add this fibula to your collection of ethnic jewellery from around the world. You can also wear it as a pendant or brooch.
