Silver fibula from Ghardaia Algeria
This silver fibula was worn by a Mozabite woman from southern Algeria. It is triangular in shape, with a perforation at the bottom of the fibula for attaching a chain or cord to join the two fibulae worn on the front of the chest to secure the drape of the dress.
The centre of the fibula is decorated with a flower and foliage.
This is a piece of jewellery from the early 20th century.
This collector's item is perfect for wearing on a scarf or jumper, or as a pendant.
Condition: This vintage ethnic piece is in good condition.
