Silver Bracelet from Morocco
This bracelet, composed of 2 parts joined by a hinge and closed by a pin, was worn by a woman of the Ida Ou Semlal tribe in the Anti-Atlas region of Morocco.
The bracelet is hand-engraved with geometric motifs. It is also decorated with two yellow and green enamel flowers with a red glass cabochon in the center (one of the cabochons is lost).
This bracelet opens wide. The pin is attached to the bracelet by a chain.
Condition: This bracelet is perfectly wearable. One glass cabochon is missing, but the bracelet's antique beauty has not been altered.
Reference: A similar bracelet is in the collection of the "Musée du Ethnographique du Quai Branly" (Ethnographic Museum), with inventory no. 74.1967.9.5.
