Silver Bracelet Aît Atta people, Morocco
This heavy bracelet was worn by a woman from the AÎt Atta tribe in Morocco's Draa Valley.
This oval-shaped bracelet is decorated in relief with regular oblique domes. The edge of the bracelet is decorated with palmettes.This bracelet is in silver with a Moroccan hallmark on the edge, I cannot identify the hallmark.
This bracelet is perfectly wearable. It's a timeless piece of fine antique jewelry.
Condition: This bracelet is in good condition. I have cleaned it to restore its luster.
Reference: A similar bracelet can be found in the ethnographic collection of the "Musée Ethnographique du Quai Branly" (Ethnographic Museum) in Paris, inventory no. 71.1976.42.64.
