This stunning necklace is composed of thousands of white and red glass beads (the red beads have a white heart) and 8 large bronze beads.

This type of necklace was worn in India in the mid-20th century by the women of the Gondh tribe (eastern India).This is a rare, collectible necklace with the added bonus of being fabulously wearable!

Reference: Several of these necklaces are referenced in the collection of the French Museum of Ethnography "Musée du Quai Branly" N° 70.2005.5.2841.
