Antique Rashaida Silver Anklet – Egypt / Sudan – Early 20th Century
A substantial antique hollow silver anklet, traditionally associated with Rashaida and Nubian jewelry traditions of the Egypt–Sudan Red Sea region.
The curved hollow body terminates in two large faceted finials and is entirely decorated with hand-engraved and punched geometric motifs.

Heavily worn from prolonged traditional use. Several small holes and losses are present in the hollow silver body, together with scratches, dents and softened engraving. These are clearly shown in the photographs.
