Traditionally suspended at the back of a woman’s headdress, it combines ceremonial adornment with a protective amulet case.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA triangular upper plaque and rectangular central panel are linked by multiple handmade silver chains to a larger rectangular \u003cem\u003ehirz\u003c\/em\u003e, traditionally intended to hold folded Quranic verses or prayers.
